Hi! I’m Michelle Tweed. Mom to two children ages 8 and 4, two Australian Shepherds, the random bug, caterpillar or frog my son brings home, and wife to an amazing man. I’m happy to report “fish” is no longer included in the above…😊

I love nature, and just being in it. I feel so close to God in those quiet moments. Or even in the loud moments with my kids laughing and carrying on. There’s just something wonderful about a walk in the woods, or anywhere in nature.

One of my favorite hobbies is wandering in a plowed field looking for stone artifacts. It might sound crazy, but I can do it for hours and still wish I had more time. It’s a treasure hunt, and a time to listen to the still small voice.

I caught the adventure/travel bug in 1994, when I was 19 and went to work in Antarctica. I made ten trips there, traveling quite a bit after each contract. That wanderlust has stuck hard with me ever since. Although being a stay at home mom has put the brakes in hard for a while.

Over the last two years, I have remembered how much I love to write, and how much I need it in my life.

So here I go!
